Our energetic and exciting Tween program is a wonderful addition to the ministries of First Church. Our 5th and 6th graders learn how to grow, by example, into loving and responsible youth and adults.
SUNDAYS FOR FAMILIES
We offer Sunday morning nursery for infant – 2 years old as well Sunday School opportunities at 9:30am for Pre-K through 12th Grade.

sunday morning PROGRAMS
5th & 6th Grade Confirmation Class
All 5th and 6th graders are invited to participate in Confirmation class on Sunday mornings from 9:45 – 10:45am. Confirmands participate in a variety of in depth classes which prepare them to become full members of the church. Upon completion of the confirmation class, 6th grade confirmands commit to the Methodist Church during worship the Sunday following Easter.
Wednesday school year programs
5th – 8th Grade Wednesday Programming
Tweens and Mid-High are invited to join us on Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 7:15pm in the Youth Building for fellowship, games, learning, and worship. Click HERE to register.
SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAMS
5th GRADE SMALL GROUP
During the school year, 5th graders are invited to meet off-campus on Wednesday afternoons at 2:45pm for a small group devotion. Limited transportation will be available from the church to the off-campus location. Contact Denise Van Atta for more info.
6th GRADE SMALL GROUP
During the school year, 6th graders are invited to meet off campus before school for a small group devotion. Days and times will vary. Limited transportation will be available to local middle schools. Contact Denise Van Atta for more info.
TWEEN CHOIR
Our 5th and 6th grade choir practices on Sunday evenings during the school year from 6:00-6:30pm. This is a fun opportunity for students to learn about the faith through singing each week and sharing their talents at a variety of worship services through the year. Contact Rev. Retreats, retreats, & Special Events
Tweens can participate in a variety of camps, retreats, and special events made just for them throughout the year! They will learn, grow, and serve!
