• All artwork in subject to approval.

Additionally, the Wright Place is open Sundays in between worship services.

First Church has the AS Hanging system which uses a wall track, 48 inch steel cables, and self gripping hooks. Two areas are provided to display art work, totaling 476 square feet of wall space. These areas are the busiest on campus; artwork will potentially be seen by up to 2,500 people in a given month.

Each Artist of the Month receives generous press at the church, including our monthly newsletter (The Methodist Witness), the Sunday worship bulletin, and social media.

Artists of the Month are generally introduced and recognized on the third Sunday following the start of each exhibit at the beginning of our 8:30am Main Sanctuary service. Artists and their guests are invited to attend. Following the service, a church reception to meet and greet church members is also available to artists.

As an appreciation for showing your art at the church, First Church offers artists a two hour private reception free of charge (Any time over that will be a $75 per hour charge). For a fee, the church can provided punch and cookies or you may prepare and serve your own food.

Artwork Sales
Artists are asked to make a donation of 15% of their sales during this show to First United Methodist Church. This may be done at the conclusion of your show. Checks should be made payable to FUMC and delivered to the church office on the day your art is removed.  A donation receipt, for tax purposes, is available if desired.
