Great Day of Service

Basic Info
The Great Day of Service is. special day we set aside each year to come together and serve others in our community and support organizations that serve [people in need. We”ll work with some of our 2024 Mission partners. All ages are welcome and encouraged to participate–there’s something for everyone. Come help clean, paint, organize, do yark work, etc. as we put our hands and feet to our call to serve and love one another.

Childcare
Registration is required. Childcare is provided for ages 5 and under however, you are welcome to bring your children with you to serve.

Schedule
8:00 – 8:30am // Check-In & Breakfast
8:30 – 9:00am // Worship
9:00 – 9:15am // Travel to Work Sites
9:15am – 12:00pm // Service to Others & Childcare
12:00 – 1:00pm // Childcare Ends, Story Sharing & Lunch

Bright Bridge Ministries provides food, transitional housing, and spiritual support to those in need.

Disaster Relief trains and prepares to offer assistance during emergencies, such as hurricanes and storms.

Embrace Florida Kids provides homes, healing, and hope to vulnerable children who come from families in crisis, placed in foster care at no fault of their own.

Kid’s Weekend Feeding Program is a need-based program that provides students with backpacks of food to take home and eat during weekends.

Milk-n-Honey’s mission is to help strengthen under-resourced, high-poverty children and youth to live up to their fullest potential both academically and spiritually. 

Ronald McDonald House, Charities of Northwest Florida‘s mission is to love and support families of children with medical needs by giving them a place to call home.

Family Promise provides temporary housing for families by hosting families experiencing homelessness.

United Ministries helps families in crisis in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties with financial assistance for rent, mortgage, and utility bills.
