Join a small friendly group for fellowship. We have no agenda other than to get out of the house and to enjoy time with friends…. new and old. Coffee and pastries are provided.

QIGONG/Tai Chi with Jean Parker
Wednesdays & Fridays | $5 per class | 9:45 – 10:45am | Franklin Building
QIGONG, the “meditative martial art”, has its roots in Chinese Medicine, and is a close cousin to the better-known tai chi. The slow, graceful motions are simple and repetitive, making the practice of qigong accessible to just about anyone. Some benefits include: increased energy, better balance, improved muscle strength, reduced joint pain, lowered inflammation, decreased stress, anxiety and depression, improved overall well-being and more. 50-Forward Celebrates Senior Week

A week full of fun and fellowship, during the month of April, as we enjoy a variety of activities and celebrate our Senior Adults at First Church. The experiences of older people bring wisdom and insight to our congregation. First Church wants to recognize that God loves and blesses people of all ages and stages of life. Children, youth, adults, and older adults can all learn from one another and fellowship together. Reservations required.
