Palm / Passion Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, a time where we remember the sacrifice God made for us. As Palm Sunday begins, the crowd waves palm branches, wanting to crown Jesus as king. But as the story of the passion unfolds, their shouts of praise turn to demands for his crucifixion; he receives a crown of thorns as he is handed over to be mocked and killed.
Neighborhood Palm Sunday Parade

Join us for a special church-wide Palm Sunday parade. Participants will parade together through the neighborhood waving palm branches as we celebrate Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem. Please meet in front of the Main Sanctuary immediately following the 11:00am services. A special stop will be made at Wesley Haven Villa, Assisted Living Facility. Lunch will be provided following the parade.
