Services in-person & online at 8:30 and 11:00am at Florida's Oldest United Methodist Church

First United Methodist Church of Pensacola, in conjunction with The Methodist Children’s Academy, is offering weekly summer camps, May 28 – August 4, 2023 for rising 1st – 6th Graders.

2023 registration options:
Half Day Camp (8:00am – Noon): $100/week
Full Day Camp (7:30am – 5:30pm): $175/week

(Camp is closed June 19 & July 4. Cost of camps are pro rated to $80 for half day and $140 for full day. Half day is not offered June 5 – 9.)

REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION POLICY: Registration for each camp closes the Wednesday (end of day) prior. Any cancellations must be done at least two weeks prior to the start of each camp, otherwise you will be billed the full amount. 

PAYMENTS: $100 Non-Refundable deposit is due at time of registration. Deposit will be credited towards first tuition payment. Tuition is due for each camp the Monday prior and can be paid via the FUMC Website or by check (made out to FUMC Pensacola).

May 28 – June 2 | Jungle Safari
Highlights: Gulf Breeze, Zoo, Hunter Pool & Animal Tales
Join us as we kick off Summer with a jungle of fun. We will enjoy exploring the rainforest, learning about animals and habitats, enjoying a visit from Animal Tales, a live animal program and a trip to the Zoo!

June 5 – June 9 | Ready, Set, Move: Vacation Bible School
OFFERED FOR FULL DAY ONLY
Highlights: Mr. Softee
Get Ready to Move into a fun, interactive week filled with lots of games, creative crafts, movement and music and learn how to follow Jesus here, there and everywhere. Kids will participate in an outreach project and enjoy a Fabulous Friday complete with ice cream!

June 12 – June 16 | Medieval Madness
Highlights: Castle Bounce House & Hunter Pool
Calling all lords and ladies for this week of Medieval madness complete with castles, dragons, archery and a chance to create a renaissance festival.

June 20 – June 23 | Under the Big Top
Highlights: Hunter Pool
Join in the excitement of our carnival camp by learning the physics behind all the fun. Make and play your very own games and get ready to use art and creativity to host your own carnival. (CLOSED JUNE 19. This camp is pro rated to $80 for half day and $140 for full day)

June 26 – June 30 | Sports Week
Highlights: Hunter Pool & Blue Wahoos
Campers will experience all that sports have to offer. They will learn the importance of teamwork and enhance their skills in various sports. This camp will end with a field day and closing awards ceremonies.

July 3 & July 5 – 7 | Backyard Splash
Highlights: Hunter Pool, Water Games, & Waterslide
What better way to cool off than water slides and water races? (CLOSED JULY 4. This camp is pro rated to $80 for half day and $140 for full day)

July 10 – July 14 | Lights, Camera, Action
Highlights: Hunter Pool, Pensacola Little Theatre
This week will bring out the director, producer, actor, singer and dancer in all of us. Children will be introduced to the theatre experience using music, dance and creative games.

July 17 – July 21 | Mad Scientist
Highlights: Hunter Pool & MESS Hall
Calling all scientists! Grab your lab coat and experiment with volcanoes, slimes, goop and more. It will be bubbling over with fun!

July 24 – July 28 | Construction
Highlights: Legos, Hunter Pool, Construction Vehicles,
Up for a challenge? Put your engineering skills to the test by building towers, bridges, and more using tools such as food, Legos, and lots of creativity! Put your thinking caps on because there is a lot to be built!

July 31 – August 4 | Retro
Highlights: Hunter Pool, Children’s Museum, Fast Eddie’s
Back in time- We are going through time in a week of decades-inspired activities. Time to break out those leg-warmers and tie-dye shirts.
