First United Methodist Church of Pensacola, in conjunction with The Methodist Children’s Academy, is offering weekly summer camps, May 28 – August 7, 2024 for rising 1st – 6th Graders.

2024 REGISTRATION OPTIONS:
HALF DAY CAMP (8:30AM –1:00pm ): $100/WEEK
FULL DAY CAMP (7:30AM – 5:30PM): $175/WEEK

(Camp is closed June 19 & July 4-5. Cost of camps are pro rated to $80 for half day and $140 for full day. Half day is not offered June 3 – 7.)

REGISTRATION POLICY: Registration for each camp closes the Monday (end of day) prior. 

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS: $26 (per week) Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable deposit is due at the time of registration. The deposit will be credited towards tuition payment. Tuition is due for each camp the Monday prior and can be paid via the FUMC Website or by check (made out to FUMC Pensacola).

Animal Planet | May 28 – May 31
Highlights: Zoo, Animal Tales, & Hunter Pool
Welcome to Animal Planet where it’s alive and it’s wild. Come join us on an adventure to the Zoo as we see and learn about so many animals from around the world as well as get up close and personal with some furry and not-so furry animals courtesy of Animal Tales. We will also enjoy a refreshing dip in the water hole at Hunter Pool. To miss this week would be a real boar!

Vacation Bible School: Let’s Start the Party! | June 3 – 7
Half Day Not Offered
Highlights: Games, Crafts, Music, & More!
Jesus gives us the most amazing reason to party. Come celebrate friendship, belonging, forgiveness, life, and purpose, and learn why we believe God’s love and the Gospel of Jesus is the best news ever. Join us for great lessons, rotations, worship, and missions!

Ancient Archeology | June 10 – 14
Highlights: Fort Barrancas, Fort Pickens, & Pensacola Children’s Museum
We’re taking an exciting adventure into the past to see the architecture and learn how people lived in the ancient days. Come join us as we visit Fort Barrancas, Fort Pickens, and the Children’s Museum. It’ll be the event of the century.

Imagination Station: June 17 – 21
Highlights: Pensacola Symphony, Pensacola Little Theatre, & Pensacola Museum of Art
We are encouraging your imagination to run wild with creativity this week. Join us as we explore all of the different forms of art from music and theater to paintings, sculptures, and more. This week is sure to get those creative juices flowing and bring out the inner imagineers in us all.

Exploring the Universe: June 24 – 28
Highlights: Naval Museum, Mess Hall, & Hunter Pool
There is a vast universe to discover and explore. Come join us for a thrilling expedition to the Naval Museum where we will explore everything from aircraft to spacecraft. Experiments galore at the Mess Hall will also be a stop on this trip through the universe. Get ready and strap in for a ride to infinity and beyond.

Stars & Stripes: July 1 – 3
Highlights: Cordova Lanes, Goofy Golf, & Hunter Pool
Come celebrate Independence Day with us in true American fashion. We will be participating in some down-home favorite American pastimes such as bowling and goofy golf. We will then end with a bang by learning how fireworks are made. Don’t miss the extravaganza. 

Sports Week:  July 8 – 12
Highlights: Inflatable, Obstacle Course, & Blue Wahoos
Welcome to the world of sports. This week we will be honing our skills at various sports and learning the importance of teamwork and just having fun. An Obstacle course and inflatable will also be featured this week to test those muscles and those reflexes. Come with your enthusiasm and your energy this week.

Get Your Hands Dirty: July 15 – 19
Highlights: From the Ground Up Community Garden, Hunter Pool, & Messy Games
If getting messy is your jam then this week is for you! We will be volunteering at the local community garden known as From the Ground Up, getting down and dirty with the plants. It only gets dirtier from here with the messy games that will leave no one untouched by grime. It’ll be good, dirty fun that you won’t want to miss. 

Challenges: July 22 – 26
Highlights: Fast Eddie’s, Hunter Pool, & Escape Room
Are you up for the challenge? This week will be full of solving puzzles, building together, and learning how to work as a team to get challenges accomplished. We will also be venturing to Fast Eddie’s to win the maximum tickets at challenging games. Come join us and put your skills to the test.

Pensacola Landmarks: July 29 – August 2
Highlights: Pensacola Scavenger Hunt, Hunter Pool, & Pensacola Museum of History
Have you ever wanted to know more about this awesome city we live in? Well now’s your chance to come join us as we learn about the great city of Pensacola and find some hiding pelicans along the way. Come find the greatness that Pensacola has to offer.

Summer Splash: August 5 – 7
Highlights: Waterslide, Hunter Pool, & Water Sports
Are you ready for the biggest splash of the summer? We’re ending summer camp with plenty of refreshing water activities including a waterslide, tons of water games, and Hunter Pool. This will be a week guaranteed not to be a washout!
